How to survive a horror movie
It's almost Halloween and i want to make sure all my little duckies don't get hacked to bits by some guy in a hockey mask, stabbed by a killer doll, murdered in the nightmare realm, experimented on by freaks in the hills on some retard camping trip, or just genral murdered by any psycho.
so here is some tips.
-Never say that you'll be right back because you won't be.
-Always make sure that your car has a fresh battery so it will start immediately in times of crisis.
-When you're searching a house because you think there's something dangerous there, for God's sake turn the bloody lights on!
-If you're running from the monster, expect to trip or fall down at least twice, more if you are of the female persuasion. Also note that, despite the fact that you are running and the monster is merely shambling along, it's still moving fast enough to catch up with you.
-If you find a town which looks deserted, it's probably for a good reason. Take the hint and stay away.
-Always check the back seat of your car.
-If you find that your house is built upon or near a cemetery, that was once a church that was used for black masses, had previous inhabitants who went mad or committed suicide or died in some horrible fashion, or had inhabitants who performed necrophilia or satanic practices, move away immediately.
-If you come into possession of a strange old artifact and any exotic person (old wizened oriental, gypsy, indian medicine man) warns you to do/not do something, do not do just the opposite in order to demonstrate how silly they are.
-Kill the person in the group who suggests that you split up. They will eventually get you killed.
- If your friend turns into a demon and then suddenly turns back to normal, kill them because they are not normal!(Unless its me because i can explain that)
-Take heed of all warnings from animals and children. They usually know more than you do.
-When it appears that you have killed the monster, never check to see if it's really dead.
-Stay away from certain geographical locations. Such as: Amityville, Elm Street, Transylvania, Nilbog, the Bermuda Triangle or any small town in Maine.
-Always be nice to the shy, quiet, unpopular girl in school.
-Never back out of one room into another without looking. It’s always behind you.
-If the killer is standing three feet in front of you, don’t just stand there and scream while he comes running towards you. It may comes as a shock, but he DOES in fact want to kill you.
-If the killer if after you and you somehow manage to knock him down,
don’t get up and run for help. Believe me, he will stay down much longer
after you kick him a couple times.
-Kill the Scientist. No matter what else you do, kill him off right away. They always want to study “it,” or take “it” back to the corporate masters, or learn from “it” at the expense of comrades lives. Eggheads are always trying to understand the unknown, and get nearly everyone killed doing it. Get a clue, kill the guy with the pocket protector, he’s going to sacrifice you anyway.
-When and if you fall while running and the killer/monster is near you, don’t just sit there screaming like someone will hear you. Get up and RUN!!
-If you are fleeing from a killer or supernatural being and you see a cop car, run right by it. There are three possible ways that things will turn out if you try to get the cops attention and none are good:
A. The cop is already dead in some gruesome way that will cause you to scream and alert the killer/monster as to where you are.
B. The cop will probably end up dead as he tries to help you, this will only distract the killer away from you for a few seconds, but chances are you will end up getting killed anyway.
C. The supernatural being has assumed the form of a cop and just when you
think you are safe…he will kill you.
-If one night you see a dark haired girl carrying around dolls with the eyes scratched out, back away slowly, then run like hell.
-Never listen to strange voices on the telephone.
-If you find the mangled body of a friend, camping partner, janitor, or whom ever, don’t stay and investigate. Run like hell.
-Never hide in a closet.
-Never wait until you NEED the gun to check and see if it’s loaded.
-If you hear a strange noise coming from upstairs that sounds similar to, oh let’s say a severed head falling to the floor, don’t go trying to find out what it is.
-Never answer the phone when you are babysititng. Just get the hell out of there and leave the kids for dead
-If running from the monster/killer, try to make the least amount of noise possible. Especially if you are female. Panting, crying and screaming is not going to help you hide any better.
-If the young girls of the neighborhood start singing songs about boogeymen while jumping rope, consider moving.
-Never, under any circumstance, plan a camping trip that coincides with Friday the 13th.
-A small town’s little summer celebration might sound like fun. But if you hear the locals say things like, “Why you’re the guest of honor! We couldn’t even have the barbecue with out you!”, run like hell.
-If someone tells you to do or not to something (example: DON’T fall asleep, DON’T go out there, DON’T go look for the homicidal-chainsaw-wielding psychopath by yourself) by all means, LISTEN TO THEM!!
-Never go to camp or become a counselor. You’ll be dead by the end of summer.
-Never babysit. There are enough babysitter-in-danger-thanks-to-a-stupid-killer flicks out there already.
-If your children speak to you in Latin or any other language which they should not speak, or if they speak to you using a voice which is not their own, shoot them immediately. It will save you the grief in the long run. *NOTE* It will probably take several rounds to kill them, so be prepared.
-Never read a book of demon summoning aloud, even as a joke.
Hope you all stay alive long enough to finish this list but judging by the fact you haven't noticed the man with a chainsaw behind you i doubt that. HAPPY HALLOWEEN

-Leprechauns....
-holes. Now not all holes but a bunch of little craters like a hive or something
-bugs. there nasty and tiny with alot of little legs
-the villain from Fern Gully
-cutting into skin. It just isn't right
-All you out there! Just kidding. Happy Halloween!

Random play Quotes
"And mark this. Let either of you breathe a word, or the edge of a word, about the other things, and I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder you. And you know I can do it; I saw Indians smash my dear parents' heads on the pillow next to mine and I have seen some reddish work done at night, and I can make you wish you had never seen the sun go down! Secrets of the Desert Chapter 1
Chapter 1
“Why is it so hot?!” I sighed wiping the sweat from my forehead with the back of hand.
“Because we live in the desert, now shut up before you give away our location.” Sora, my team leader and team medic, snapped from the branch beside me.
Crouched in one of the branches above me was Masami, the third member of my team.
If you could see how serious we looked hiding in one of Sunagakure’s few trees you would have thought we were on an S-ranked mission.
That wasn’t even close the truth.
I and the rest of Team Zero were hiding from. Masami, Sora, and I were Sunagakure’s elite team of Genin. Our only job was to back up Temari, Kankura, and Gaara-Sama
It sucked.
My personal opinion was if something could get past Temari Senpai and Kankura Senpai and then Garra-Sama then not even the Kami-Sama could stop it. In my eyes Gaara-Sama was invincible.
I told that to Temari-Senpai once and found myself on the other side of her giant iron fan.
“Baka.” I mumbled to myself.
“Dammit Sash, shu...” was all Sora got out before a gust of wind threw us from our hiding spot about three feet and into the sand. Well it threw me into the sand my teammates found away to land gracefully on their feet.
So what I’m not that graceful.
Sitting up I glanced into the tree finding the cause of our fall. Not that it was much of a mystery.
Temari and Kankura stood smug, smirking down at us from the tree.
“You guys might have actually fooled us this time if it wasn’t for Sasha’s big mouth.” Temari said in between laughs.
“Love ya kid.” Kankura said blowing me a kiss playfully.
I could feel the glare from Sora burning into the back of my head. I could see him in my head, glasses at the tip of his nose, arms crossed, and his hair falling in front of his face but the rage in his eyes still completely visible.
Sora rarely bothered to let others anger him. He was usually too caught up in his research or his training to care about any one. This made him a great ninja and on obvious chose for team zero.
Masami glanced over at Sora and sighed before stretching her arm out to help me up. She pulled me up and brushed the sand of my back before pulling down her mask to flash me a smile.
Masami was the strongest ninja I knew. Her blonde hair and blue eyes could be the last thing you saw. I had heard the villagers describe her as a siren. Masami was also my best friend and had been since we were children at the academy.
“You okay Sasha-Chan?” She asked pulling her mask back up.
“Yeah thanks a lot Masami.” I said.
Kankura and Temari were descending the tree when Sora turned to us and spoke.
“Try and keep up with us Sasha.” he said before taking off with me and Masami behind him.
Normally we would have given up when we got caught but there was too much at stake today.
Now we knew we couldn’t outrun Temari and Kankura for long but they were already tired from searching for us all morning and we were just hoping they’d give up.
We had no such luck.
They were at our tails in an instant.
“Give up already. You are going to Konohagakure if I have to drag you three there myself!” Kankura-Senpai yelled at us grabbing at my collar missing by an inch.
Most of the villagers would have fainted if they knew we were trying to avoid a chance to escape Suna’s hot summer and go to Konoha instead.
As of this morning our mission was to escort the Kazekage to Konoha to sign some treaty with the Hokage. This would last about three months.
This only sounded like a good mission but the truth was we would be unneeded.
Once inside of Konoha, there ninja’s would take over the protection Gaara-Sama and Temari and Kankura would act Gaara’s personal bodyguards. Not that any of them would be needed for a peace treaty between two nonviolent nations.
And since Gaara was the one travelling, Konoha would send two of their own teams to help the escort go smoothly. I thought this was over kill but Temari-Senpai said it was how things were done.
This meant we would be only going to attend meetings and dinners. We weren’t too thrilled about trading in our Shuriken in for kimonos and our people skills left much to be desired. Gaara had still instead we go. Sora blamed me for this but I couldn’t understand why.
So that takes us back to the present.
Running form Temari and Kankura.
“Break!” Sora yelled running off toward the left. Masami did the same and ran to the right. This left me running….Damn!
“You get Sasha and I’ll get the other two.” Temari yell before disappearing.
It was only a few seconds after the other two left before I felt myself tiring and Kankura saw this too. “Sasha-Chan about you just give up and we go back to the Kazekage Residence.”
I tried to ignore him.
“I’ll make you some green tea with honey.”
I must not give in.
“We’ve got air conditioning.” He said.
I stopped and was instantly grabbed by Kankura who flipped me over his shoulder not wanting to have to do this all over again.
He laughed to himself before walking off toward the house.
At this point most would wonder how I got the job of being on team zero. That was an answer that stirred conversations with the villagers. Most thought it was due to my unique relationship with Gaara but in truth that didn’t come until after I was appointed to the team. The reason was mostly due to my parentage. My Father being a certain Akatsuki member and my mother a deceased ANBU Black Ops threw who I inherited a special Genjutsu that allowed me to see a person’s past, true heart’s desires and when I got better their future.
“Kankura-Sempai?” I asked.
“Yea” He called over his shoulder.
“Can we not tell the others about this?” I asked embarrassed about how easily I gave up.
Kankura laughed. “Sure kid.”
“Why is it so hot?!” I sighed wiping the sweat from my forehead with the back of hand.

Only the Good Die Young Chapter 1
Foreword
A long, long time ago in a land not too far from here, there was a Notebook Jesus with a problem. “Oh dear Gods of the notebook people” she said “deliver me from the lies and plagiarism that it is Twilight.”
You see dear children this Notebook Jesus was a great writer like all the people of her race. She loved to write everything but her favorite was Fanfictions of her favorite novels.
One day while visiting her father in the land of people he introduced her to the show Roswell. Suddenly out little Notebook Jesus began to find extreme similarities between the two shows. Needles to say she was struck with grief had Stephenie Meyer stolen her ideas from the old WB show.
Yes.
What was the little Notebook Jesus to do now? She couldn’t possibly write with a stolen story could she?
So she that night she began to ask help from the Gods of the Notebook People. All of a sudden there was a huge flash of light and out of the sky appeared the famous muse fairy.
“Oh little Notebook Jesus do not cry for I have an idea.” She said waving her magical wand.
In an instant both the magical fairy and our little Notebook Jesus were teleported to the ancient city of the Eighties where the mystical VHS was kept. Only the wisest of Notebook Jesuses ever journeyed there.
“Go to the VHS little Notebook Jesus.” The fairy commanded and the little Notebook Jesus did just that.
The VHS turned on and began to show moving pictures.
“This is the Story of Lost Boys. Take this and write the greatest Fanfiction of all.” The fairy said.
The little Notebook Jesus ran home and began to write the greatest Fanfiction of all.
The End.
Okay so I want to start by saying I hope you all had a great holiday. Now that I said that I want to explain that I will be not counting the Twilight Fanfiction. The similarities between Roswell and Twilight are scary. The only real difference is she swapped aliens for vampires.
Now before you say “Well Harry Potter is like other stories too.” I know that but isn’t the exact same story.
So now that’s all cleared up we can start this story. This story takes place four years after the movie ends. Also in my version Michael uses Star to become full vampire so she is dead. Michael the joins the lost boys and Sam still lives with his grandpa but joins the Frog Brothers. Michael and Sam are trying to kill each other. Oh yeah and did I mention it’s still the 80’s? I just couldn’t resist.
By the way if you haven’t watched Lost Boys you really need to but you can get through this story without it. You just won’t get that cool feeling when you notice I used a movie line and you’ll feel like a loser.
One more thing this story is told both through the eyes of Michael and Sasha.
Chapter One
(Michael)
When all the light had fled from the sky and it was safe for me to leave I awoke. The others were still asleep which was good. With David awake I wouldn’t be able to do what I needed to do.
I crept quickly with my superhuman speed to the surface and pushed my bike far enough away before turning it on so the roar of the engine wouldn’t wake them.
I drove to the boardwalk avoiding the police there heading toward Max’s video store. It wasn’t a long time before I found it. I wait for the customer he was helping to leave before entering.
He watched from the corner of his eye making sure I was alone. When he concluded I was he turned to greet me with a smile? Max had often told me when we were alone like this I was his favorite child. I was “well behaved” he would say.
“What can I do for you Michael?’ Max asked handing me a red lollipop.
“I need your help with something.” I said flat out.
“Well what can I do?” he asked flashing me that smile that made you think he was just some sweet old man. If only people really knew.
“I talked to an old friend, Preston, the other day. You see him and his little sister, Sasha, were like my brother and sister before we moved from phoenix.”
“I see.” He said
“Well they live with their mom but she started getting sick. Well last Month she passed.”
“I am sorry to hear that. Do send my condolences.”
“I will but you see I was hoping you could help Preston get a job.” I asked shoving my hands into the pockets of my jacket.
“I seem to be a bit lost. I thought you said they live in Phoenix?” He asked
“They did but Preston thinks that Sasha needs to be somewhere else right now. So I said he should move here.” I said
“Oh, dear.” Max said shaking his head.
He then leaned in so that I would be the only one who could hear.
“I don’t think you should get involved with these humans Michael. You’ll only end up losing them.” He said.
I had figured he would say something like that. I wasn’t upset though.
I turned to leave but was stopped as Max grabbed my arm.
“But Michael if they weren’t human then…” he said letting my mind try to contemplate the possibilities.
“Then they won’t be.” I said laughing before running out and heading home.
Everything was going perfect.
(Sasha)
Moving to Santa Carla was not my idea. That was all Preston’s idea.
“We needed to start over.” My brother had said. “A new life somewhere else.”
I sighed to myself from the back of our over loaded station wagon.
“Sasha quit moping. We’re in sunny California and were gonna see Michael again” My brother called from the driver seat as if he read my mind.
“Damn older brother senses.” I mumbled crossing my arms and pouting like a child.
Preston sighed. “Come on Sash, don’t be like that.” He said looking at me in the rear view mirror.
“When I spoke to Michael on the phone last week he said moving here changed his life and he couldn’t wait to see us again. He even said he had something for us.” Preston said trying to change my mood.
It wasn’t like I was always like this or that I didn’t want to see Michael again. I wasn’t and I did.
Michael had been Cruise’s lifelong friend and like another brother to me and normally I was a really cheerful person. I just really hated California.
“Here we are!”
I looked out the window to find to find a small house with an overgrown lawn.
“Please tell me this is a joke.” I said opening the door and stepping outside. Preston walked over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder comfortingly.
“It has Personality.” He said.
“That’s what people say about ugly babies.” I mumbled to myself before walking away and heading toward the trunk of the car.
“Okay it isn’t the prettiest house but if I cut the grass and put a new coat of paint on it who knows what it could look like.” He said.
I tried to ignore him as I opened the trunk and pulled out a box marked Sasha’s Room.
“You can paint room purple.” Preston said taking the box from hands. “You have always wanted to but couldn’t. Now you can.”
Preston was trying to bribe a smile out of me.
So I gave him one. He didn’t deserve to have to fight with me. He was only trying to help me by moving here.
Preston took care of me even before mom had gotten sick. He was just that kind of person. All he wanted was for things to go back to normal.
“Can it be purple and green stripes? “I asked deciding I wouldn’t be upset any more.
Preston grinned like a Cheshire cat and pulled me into a bear hug.
“Things will be okay Sash, I promise.”
***********
It took us all morning but we managed to unload all the junk from the station wagon and put it away. With our stuff in the house it didn’t seem as bad. Preston even got our old lawn mower running in the yard.
I glanced around my new room which looked a whole lot like my old room but I liked it that way. The closet was of worn blue jeans and t-shirts with a few pairs of chucks on the floor.
My twin size bed had a purple sheet set. The nightstand next it had a little glass ballerina nightlight. On one of the walls was a small bookshelf held my novels and old sketch pads. The final touch was David Bowie and Billy Joel Posters that adorned the walls and the plastic glow in the dark stars on the ceiling.
I sighed and collapsed onto my bed.
Tomorrow I started school at Santa Carla High. I’d be a junior. I wasn’t too excited about it but after school though we got to go see Michael.
Preston walked in and sat up on my bed.
“Hey Sash.” He said holding up to cartoons up Chinese food. “I’ve got Fried Rice and Lo Mein.” He said giving me one as he sat down too.
“You’re going to like it here.” Preston said opening his food.
“Yeah probably.” I said.
“I just got off the phone with Michael.”
“And...”
“He said that the guy that took him in, Max, has a job for me at this video store.”
“Coolio.”
“Yeah and he said he’ll bring him tomorrow so we can meet him. Ohh and he’s bringing his brothers too.”
“Brothers, you mean Sam?”
“No. I asked the exact same thing. He said that he was talking about the other boys Max took in. There’s about seven of them.”
“Real Mother Teresa type huh?”
“Yeah that’s a lot boys in that house.”
“That’s got to be a dirty house.”
“Totally.”
“So did he ask about me?” I asked finally.
Preston laughed before answering me.
“Yeah he asked me if you still used that night light he got you when you were little.”
Flashback
“Preston!! Mommy!! The monsters are here!! Mommmyyyy!” I screamed for them as the monster man from the closet lurched forward. I could hear the pounding on the floor as Mommy and Preston came to save me.
“I’m going crush you like an ant in my hands.” The monster man said reaching out to grab my throat in his clawed hand.”
I shut my eyes tight and screamed again. “Moommmyyy!”
The door flung open and light began to fill the room. I opened my eyes as monster man disappeared and mommy pulled into her arms.
I was still crying though.
“Shh, Sasha dear it’s okay I’m here.” She said brushing my hair with her fingers until I stopped crying.
Preston stood at the door. Michael stood behind him. I forgot he was staying over and I felt bad for making Preston come up now.
I got out of mommy’s arms and went over to Preston.
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to make you come up here.” I said
Preston smiled. “It’s okay just try not close the door all the way next time ok.”
There wasn’t a nicer brother than Preston in the whole wide world.
“Don’t be upset I still get afraid of the dark too.” Michael said.
Except maybe Michael.
That night I slept with Mommy.
And the next morning when I was playing in the backyard Michael came over with a present.
“This is for you.” He said.
I opened it and there was a ballerina nightlight.
“If you turn it on when you go to bed no monster can get you ever.” He said.
End Flash back
I playfully hit him in his shoulder.
“You didn’t tell him I did, did you.”I said glancing over at the nightlight.
“Maybe I did. Maybe I didn’t.” Preston said joking.
I hit him again.
“No I didn’t stop hitting me.” He said laughing.
“Better not have.” I said before returning to my food.
We fished our dinner in almost silence and afterwards Preston kissed me goodnight and took the empty containers away.
I change into a t-shirt and shorts and went to bed but not before turning on my nightlight.
(Michael)
I sat in front of a fire pit watching Paul and Marko go head to head about who had landed the first kill that night.
“My girl was dead while you were still grabbing yours.”
“No way man.”
I laughed to myself this was my family.
“Ehh Mikey whose chick was dead first me or Paul’s.” Marko called from across the room.
“Neither, mine was dead way before wither of yours.”
“What?!” They both screamed in unison.
I could hear David and Dwayne cackling from the shadows before they emerged in to the light David in his wheelchair and Dwayne pushing him toward me.
“Good one Mikey” David said as Dwayne parked him next me.
“Whatever man.” Marko said plopping down into chair.
Dwayne and Paul soon followed suit and joined the rest of us around the fire.
“So Michael who’s the guy you got a job at Max’s.” David asked knowingly.
I had no idea how he knew about that but David had his ways.
“He is just an old friend from Phoenix who moved here.” I said pretending I wasn’t freaked that he knew.
I reached into my back pocket and pulled out my wallet. The guys watched as I searched through the nearly empty wallet until I found a small picture. It was a photo taken at Sasha’s 10th birthday. It was Sasha me and Preston.
Flashback
“Go and sit Preston lap Sasha.” Her mom yelled. Sasha skipped forward in her bright green party dress and sat down on her big brothers lap smiling the whole way.
I don’t think she ever stopped smiling.
I was sitting next Preston and was going to leave so the picture could be taken.
“No stay Michael. Please?” She said sticking out her bottom lip.
“Dude how can you say no to that.” Preston said laughing.
“Go ahead Michael slide over.” Sasha’s Mom said.
Flashback End
David grabbed the photo from my hand and scanned it over smirking to himself in true David fashion. “What’s her name?” He asked.
“Sasha and she is off limits David. I’m serious. Do. Not. Touch. Her.” I said.
David threw up his hands in a mock surrender. “Relax Michael, I won’t touch her. She isn’t even my type.”
I took David’s promise as serious you could take anything David said.
“Here” He yelled before he tossed the picture to Dwayne.
He looked over the picture before passing it Marko who passed to Paul then Laddie and back to me. I put it away.
“She’s a cute kid.” Dwayne said.
“She’s like my baby sister. She use to follow me around everywhere.”
“How old is she now?” Dwayne asked.
“Well I should be 19 so she is...” I paused to do the math.
“Use your fingers Michael.” Marko said snickering.
“Shut it.” Dwayne snapped at Marko before turning his attention back to me.
“She’s 16, a junior, now.” I said.
“Hmm.” Dwayne paused before disappearing and soon there was the roar of a bike on the surface.
David laughed. “She isn’t my type but Dwayne that’s a neither story.”
A small growl escaped my throat only to have daid howl louder with laughter. I wasn’t worried about Dwayne he was the only one of us with a shred of self control. I wasn’t worried at all.

Sasha Gamble and the Box of Time Chapter 2
Chapter Two
I spent the next few weeks relaxing around Snape manor Draco, Blaise and Aiden stopping by every couple days to hang out and help me unwrap my mountain of gifts. I ended up with pewter box containing extremely strong perfume, a gold and diamond amulet that was unnaturally cold to the touch, a comb made of red marble that has a faint iridescent sheen, a black glass statuette of Blaise.
‘I wonder who this is from’
An orb made of silver; a case made of gold with the words χάντρες φαντασίας and filled with glass beads.
‘I am not touching those.’
A Bottle of small hexagonal violet pills, Supertaffy Strawberries, a dagger fashioned of iron, a lot of shapeless gowns, a cherry red silk cloak, a peacock blue silk gown ornamented with tiny seashells, a marble bottle containing clear water. A necklace painted gold with charms showing a gate and a cat in a symmetrical pattern, a rose and letters within a pentagon, crossed blades, a mountain range, roses, a longbow and a full moon, an occult book and a bunch of other stuff that morally disturbed me. All of which got shoved into my closet.
The last thing I opened was from Lucius it was a key embossed to depict a garland of roses that hung from a red silk string. I put it on my nightstand.
I also helped dad prepare for the new school year.
Today was the last Friday before the school year begin and I was getting ready for dinner as I had done the entire month before. I feed my pets and dressed in an elegant woven with golden dragons and let my hair fall as it wanted thick black curls.
I contained downstairs in my normal routine of things humming “Unforgettable” which had been stuck in my head since my party. Everything had been so routine that I almost didn’t notice Lucius sitting at the dinner table.
‘The key word being almost.’
Once I did see him however my mind lost all ability to comprehend any thoughts. I stumbled into my seat and I was most likely staring like an idiot.
“Hello Sasha dear.” Lucius said in a deep velvety voice.
‘First feather soft and now deep velvety.’
“Hey” I said while trying to remember how to take a drink.
“Lucius will be joining us tonight.” Dad said.
“Thank you senior obvious.” I mumbled.
“What was that?” Dad snapped.
“Nothing Dad, I said nothing.” I said.
Dad rolled his eyes and turned back to his friend. “You were saying”
Lucius spoke, probably continuing a conversation from before I had entered the room. “That old crack pot has offered me a position at the school. The Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor.”
“Trying to please the board obviously.” Dad replied.
Dinner and wine appeared on the table but I didn’t notice my head was still swimming from what Lucius had said.
“You’re going to be teaching at Hogwarts?” I asked.
Both men stopped and turned their attention toward me. I couldn’t help but blush and for a split second I even swore I saw a smile on Lucius’s face.
“Yes I will.” The blonde answered.
“I’ll pray for you.” Dad said before downing the rest of his wine.
‘Severus Snape is an alcoholic.’
“Come now Sev all the children can’t be bad.” Lucius said.
Dad replied with only a look of doubt.
Lucius’s laugh graced the air.
The men continued their conversation while ate my dinner and listened. Actually I was listening to Lucius every word that fell from his lips I took in a cherished. I could care less about what dad had to say.
“Qu’est-ce qui ne va pas?”
My trance was broken.
“Huh?” I asked already feeling stupid for not understanding what he just said.
“He asked you what was wrong.” Dad said.
“Oh nothing but thanks for asking.” I said my face burning with embarrassment. I looked back down at my food.
Lucius laughed and I looked up to see him shaking his head. “You can’t lie very well Sasha. You speak through your eyes and at the moment they are saying your mind is somewhere else on something else.”
‘Or someone else’
“Now that you mention it she has been staring off into space quite a lot. I just figured she was retarded”. Dad said pouring himself more wine.
‘Watch it old man!’
“Hmm that’s rather curious, what could have you so distracted?” Lucius asked with a wicked smile on his face that said he knew exactly what was going on here.
“Damn it.” Dad cursed to himself as he peered inside the wine bottle looking for any hiding drops of the sweet liquid. He sighed and got up from his chair. “I will be back.”
The minute dad was no longer in site Lucius took my hand in his and with his eyes keeping mine locked into his, brought my hand up to his lips.
“Madame, parmi tous les jours de ma vie que j'avoue que c'est le plus heureux au-dessus de tout le reste, où j'ai eu l'honneur tout d'abord de vous connaître.” He spoke softly and even though I couldn’t understand him I knew his words were sweet. Lucius then placed a chaste kiss on my hand.
I mentally pinched myself until my brain bleed.
‘This has got to be a dream.’
I pulled my hand away from him as I stood up quickly causing my chair to fall to the floor with a loud crash.
“I gotta go.” I said running out of the dining room passing dad in the hallway. I ran upstairs into my room slamming the door behind me and collapsing onto the floor. Hecate came up to me sensing my discomfort. The other animals soon followed the lead of their feline sister until I was surrounded by my only friend wondering why I had just done what I had done.
‘I’m such an idiot.’
*****Back Down Stairs*****
Severus continued into the dining room after his daughter ran past him almost making him drop his precious bottle of wine. “Damn girl.” He mumbled as reentered the room and took his seat. It wasn’t as though he was ignorant to what was going on right under his nose in his house. His oldest friend was chasing after his only child. This would prove to be a pain in his arse he could feel it.
Severus looked over at Lucius who hadn’t said a word yet. That was okay with Sev he did not want to have this conversation if he didn’t have to.
“I truly didn’t mean to upset Sasha.” Lucius said breaking the silence.
Severus sighed. This was going to be a long night.
******************
I had just finished taking a shower to clear my mind and was now pulling on my Holyhead Harpies T-shirt
‘Best quidditch team ever!’
and a pair of black shorts that were entirely to small but it was just me and dad in the house so I didn’t care.
I decided I wasn’t exactly tired yet so I headed downstairs. On the way I determined that tonight should be pushed into the farthest part of my mind. I walked into my dad’s study and stopped dead in my tracks.
For the second time in one day my not paying attentions lead me into a problem. Not only was dad sitting there but Lucius to.
‘Run!!’
My mind screamed at me but my feet didn’t respond. I just stood there my mouth open.
“You shouldn’t let your mind wander it’s too small to be out on its own.” Dad said smirking.
“Yeah well you’re a Cod Fish!” I yelled my mind still back to normal
“Right.” Dad said getting up from his chair and moving toward the door. “Lucius I will see you in the morning.” He wished his old friend good night and then shook his head in my direction before sweeping from the room.
That left me alone with the blonde.
‘Run you stupid girl, scream, do something!’
But I couldn’t move and Lucius began to descend upon me.
“I would like to apologize for my behavior. I didn’t mean to startle you at dinner but dear you must understand that a mortal man as I can only resist a goddess like you for so long.” He said taking my hand in his.
I yanked it away.
“Stop messing with me I know that I’m not a normal pureblood witch and don’t fit into you little club but that doesn’t mean it’s okay to mess with my emotions!” I finished with a scream.
As if I hadn’t just yelled at him Lucius stepped closer.
“Now why would I toy with you? Have you ever thought, just for a moment, that maybe I was doing something entirely different. “
I didn’t speak as the space between us grew less and less until only inches remained.
I avoid his gaze and instead focused on my shoes. Lucius laughed and with a finger tilted my face up to him.
“You are beauty without parallel; in your face all the graces and in your mind all the virtues, the most savage creatures would derive a new nature form your beauty.” Lucius said soft and sweet.
The butterflies in my stomach were doing back flips. “What?” I squeaked out.
“Shall I put this simply my dear?” Lucius placed both hands on either side of my face.
I nodded yes not knowing what else to do. “Will you be mine Sasha? Will you let me love and take care of you?” Lucius asked a smile on his face.
I nodded.
The gap was then closed. I didn’t know who closed it but then again I didn’t care either. My loves mouth meet my own with a gentle firmness. His lips parted and felt a wet stroke against my bottom lips. I gasped and he slipped his tongue in. we continued in a long, slow kiss that sent my reeling.
His lips let me go after what felt like hours and stepped backwards toward the couch never letting go of me. We both fell back onto the leather couch. I was sitting on his lap and he slipped his arms around me.
“There we are. Now you can’t escape me my love.” He said pulling me up so I rested on his chest.
“I’m not going anywhere.” I yawned.
“Get some sleep little one. I’ll be here in the morning.” He whispered. That was the last thing I remembered before I was taken to the realm of dreams. Little did I know how much things would change tomorrow.
****************************************************
Sasha: Muhahahhahahhhaaaahhhhhha cliff hanger! And what was that at the end? A foreshadowing of a plot?
Snape: Wow you can do a plot? I never would have known.
Sasha: I wouldn’t talk old man considering you might just have to relive the worst experience of your life.
Snape: *Wide eyed* Wait you mean
Sasha: That’s right….

Sasha Gamble and the Box of Time Chapter 1
So I figured I would stick with a traditional Harry Potter Title. Enjoy!
CChapter One
“Two”
“Three”
“Two”
“Four!” I said smirking.
“You obviously do not understand how this works do you?” Dad asked.
It was the first week of August and a month before the school year at Hogwarts started. Mom, dad and I were all sitting in the dining room of Snape Manor.
“She is your daughter Sev.” Mom said still using the pet name she had given him when they were still married.
“Funny. I always thought being as stubborn as mule came from your side of the family Elaine.” My dad said smirking.
Mom huffed and turned her view away from dad.
“Maybe that’s true Sev, but at least I don’t teach children for a living.” Mom retorted.
“Sixteen!” I said before dad could respond to mom’s comment.
Dad’s head spun back to be. “Sixteen?! Five is my final offer.”
I held in my laughter and produce a look of fake disappointment on my face.
“Okay I guess that’s far.” I got up from the chair and stomped out of the dining room. Once I was out view and the doors to the dining room shut themselves I ran to the top of the stairs and listened to my parent’s conversation.
“Merlin women how many beasts do you let that child keep?” dad asked in a disapproving tone.
Mom gave a small laugh “Only five.”
I wished I could see his face.
“Remember Sev, she is your daughter” mom said laughing.
I heard nothing more from the dining room except my mother’s laughter before I ran to my new room.
***********
I had never stayed more than a few weeks at Snape manor before so I had never had a real room there. So dad had to have one made for me. My father had told me earlier that Aunt Cissy had decorated the room for me. This was fine by me, dad would have probably made it into a dungeon with a stone bed and a cauldron, but I still wasn’t prepared for what I found.
A soft perfume was noticeable in the elegant room while the hum of an unseen harp could be heard in the background. The walls were splashed with a dark green paint while the floor was marble tile. The ceiling was similarly tiled but the thick pillars that held it up were white. Woven tapestries hung from the walls and in the center of the room stood a large canopy bed with Burgundy velvet draping and sheets. The bed had more pillows then I could count. There was a large roaring marble fireplace and two doors, one two an echoing bathroom the other a closet bigger than my old bedroom, and a large window with a bed sized window seat decorated with small materiel as my bed.
I giggled to myself before with a running leap bounced on to my massive bed.
***********
My parents had two entirely different views of life. My mother, Elaine Black, all though a pureblood witch she lived and worked with muggles. My father also a pureblood wizard, tolerant as he was of my mother’s life style, could not bear to be around muggles for too long. Actually I don’t think he could bear to be around any one for long. I was caught somewhere in between the two. I preferred the company of my animals more than people yet I enjoyed the time I spent with muggles I went to school with.
Knock, knock, knock.
A soft knocking refocused my attention
“Come in.” I called to the person behind the door.
Dad strode in face blank but his eyes smiling and took a seat on the edge of my bed. He motioned for me to join him. I complied and he drew me into his arms lovingly.
“We are having small gathering for you tonight.” Dad said running his hands threw my hair like he did when I was a child.
‘Small my left foot’
“Whose we?” I asked
“Me and your god father.”
I looked up at dad “You and Lucius?”
‘Ohh now I know it’s definitely not small’
“Don’t sound so surprised.” He said playfully. “Most of the planning was Lucius.”
He continued “It’s a homecoming ball and knowing that blonde will be elaborate and entirely too long.”
I laughed at dad’s joke.
“Who all is coming?” I asked
“Lucius, Draco and Narcissa.”
‘Can’t spell Drama without Draco Malfoy’
“Mrs. Zabini and Blaise”
‘Drama queen number two’
“The Parkinsons and Pansy”
‘Pug face’
“Bellatrix, Rodolphus and Aiden Lestrange.”
‘I haven’t seen Aiden in a while’
“The Crabbe’s, Goyle’s, Flint’s and Bulstorde’s”
‘I don’t know which one is scarier ’
“And many others who aren’t important” he finished
I paused for a second.
“Are Aunt Cissy and Lucius living together?”
All though most didn’t know Narcissa and Lucius Malfoy weren’t actually married any more. They had been divorced since Draco was 5 months old.
“No but they still have their image to maintain so they show up together.”
I nodded at the new information.
“That was nice of you and Lucius.” I said.
Dad smiled “Believe it or not I love you Sash.”
“I love you to dad.”
Father gave me a hug before he stood up and began to walk out of the room. He was almost out the door before he turned to say one last thing. “The party will begin at exactly 10:00 pm so do us both a favor and go bathe you severely need one. Your dress will be brought up to you along with your forsaken beasts in about an hour.”
‘Typical Severus Snape, can’t be nice for more than 5 minutes’
“I wouldn’t have him any other way.” I said to myself before heading to the bathroom.
***********
I would have been very angry with dad after I got out of the bath for his comment but I lost the anger somewhere in-between the jets in the tub and the bubble bath that made me now smell lavender.
I looked over to the bed and smiled. All my animals’ cages were sitting by the door and a black dress bag sat on my bed.
‘Animals then dress’
I walked over to the cages the first was Cerberus. I let wolf out. Cerberus was a playful wolf with black fur and tawny markings around the ears and snout and golden eyes. As soon as the wolf was out his cage disappeared and near my bed appeared his bed and his brown teddy bear. Cerberus licked my hand before running to join his teddy.
I smiled before turning to the Hecate’s cage next. I opened the door and she sprung from her cage before running back to my side. Hecate was my protective lynx with copper colored fur and pales green eyes. She was humanly smart and loved attention. Her cage vanished and a large black cushion appeared on the window seat. I petted her head and she sprung off. I opened the last floor cage.
It belonged to Morgana my dragon. Morgana was a rare breed of dragon called Dayscale that was almost all gone due to their timid behavior and small size. Morgana had violet metallic scales, a thin short body, and small close-set wings running from its shoulders to its lower back, hooded gem-like eyes that are the color of ivory and tiny pointed ears. Morogna’s cage turned into her bed and a bowl of carrots. Morgana was a vegetarian.
‘Strange pet for a strange girl.’
I stood up and pulled out my wand, a Mahogany Dragon heartstring, and waved it at the standing cages which both turned into perches.
On one stood Circe the phoenix and on the other my rock horned owl Aleister, I sighed finally fished. I turned around and walked over to the bed. I unzipped the dress bag and gasped.
I pulled out the dress which turned out to be much larger than the bag. The gown was an astonishing black taffeta sleeveless gown with a flowing skirt and train and a corset top.
I carefully put it on and then walked into the bathroom. I did my hair so that my natural midnight curls fell against my back. I giggled childishly and twirled in a circle.
“Cute”
I whipped around toward the doorway to see dad. He walked toward me caring two black jewelry boxes, one flat and square the other and narrow rectangle.
“For me.” I asked eyeing the boxes.
Dad pursed his lips. “Maybe.” He said opening the first box, the rectangle one, pulling out a gold tone porcelain locket with red roses on it on a gold chain.
“It’s pretty.” I said while dad put it on me.
“It was my mother’s.” dad said before opening the next box. It was a tiara.
Father put the box down and placed the diamond headpiece on me.
‘Shiny’
“Or the diamonds, you know”
“Real?” dad finished for me. “Yes they are.”
I looked back at the mirror taking in the full effect.
“You look beautiful.”
“Well, I think you’re ready, so shall we?” He asked sticking out his arm.
I linked arms with dad and left the room.
***********
We stood at the top of the staircase and I could hear the murmurs of the guest below. My stomach was churning. “I don’t want to do this anymore.” I said trying to pull away from dad with no prevail.
“Try to run and I will push you down the stairs.” dad said with a devilish smirk on his face.
‘…’
Dad turned and sighed seeing the blank expression on my face.
“Do you have to look so pathetic? It makes me feel bad.” Dad said hissing the last part.
“I am so sorry for making you feel but I just realized I have no desire to walk into a room full of people that hate me.” I whispered not wanting the visitors below to hear me.
“They don’t hate you. They don’t even know you yet.” Dad said
“Oh for Merlin’s sake, if your not pretty yet then it not going to happen sweetheart.” Came the distinct voice of Draco Malfoy from downstairs. There was a loud smacking sound before it went completely quiet downstairs.
Dad rolled his eyes and we began to descend down the stairs as the room erupted in clapping.
If you had never felt a million eyes staring at you at you all at once then you would have no idea how I felt. The Ballroom was huge. It was separated in two parts a dance floor and eating area with tables for dining in the middle all of which surround one giant circular table and tables on the walls with drinks and snacks and one with the largest stack of presents I had ever seen. There were gifts of all shapes and sizes.
‘Holy dog biscuit is that one moving.’
The first people that greeted us were the Malfoys and the Lestranges.
“Hello.” I said greeting everyone.
“Oh how beautiful. Isn’t she beautiful Lucius?” Aunt Cissy asked in her shrill voice.
“Beautiful.” Lucius answered his wife.
“It took her that long to do this?” Draco mumbled to himself earning a look from his father that said don’t you dare embarrass me boy.
“Very nice this one, Severus you’ve got a good one here.” Aunt Bella said examining me as if I was some sort of foreign object. I smiled but took a few cautionary steps back.
I looked behind Aunt Bella and Rodolphus to find Aiden reading some ancient looking text.
Aiden was Bella’s son but not Rodolphus’s. Bella had him by a vampire before they were married. This made Aiden half vampire. Aiden had deep crimson eyes that screamed beautiful but dangerous. His thick, wavy, onyx, neck-length hair was worn in an uncomplicated, precise style. His skin was china white.
“Hey Aiden.” I said.
Without looking up he smiled and spoke in a deep but gentlemanly tone.
“Hey Sash.”
Aunt Bella whipped her head around at the sound of his voice. “Don’t have some friends are something.” Bella said crossing her arms.
Then he was gone.
‘I hate that woman’
Bella uncrossed her arms and put that disturbing smile back on her face.
“Bad breeding that boy.” Aunt Cissy said. “My sister is saint for even trying to help him.”
‘Do you know what saint means lady?’
“But in the end it all comes down to bad breeding.” Aunt Cissy paused looking at me the same way her sister did a minute ago.
“Severus dear I don’t mean to be noisy...”
‘Too late.’
“…but Sasha’s mother is Elaine Black correct?” Aunt Cissy asked
“Correct.” Dad said.
“That’s curious.” Cissy said.
“What’s curious?” I asked not liking were this was going.
“Sasha.” Dad warned.
“Oh it’s okay Severus. I was just thinking how I hadn’t seen my dear cousin Elaine since Sirius was put away.” Aunt cissy
“Elaine was so close to her big brother was she not Cissy.” Bella asked her sister.
“So what?” I asked ignoring dad placing his hand on my shoulder. I, unlike Draco, was not afraid of my dad.
“Oh nothing it’s just curious that’s all dear.” Cissy said with a sinister smile.
‘I am going to wipe that smile of your face on day.’
“I am going to get a drink.” I said.
“I’ll come with you.” Draco said following after me.
“Ohh my Ickle-Drakey-Wakey-Poo is such a gentleman isn’t he.” I heard Aunt Cissy say. If I hadn’t been so angry right now I probably would have fell down laughing.
I only took a few steps before I was grabbed by my wrist and a spun around on my heels to see who had grabbed me.
Draco stood there smirking. “And where are you going.”
“To get a drink.” I said trying to pull my wrist back from Draco.
Draco merely sighed and began to drag me away from the drink table threw crowds of people towards double doors on the opposite side of the room.
‘For such a tiny person you’re kinda strong’
We entered the doors, which turned out to be a kitchen.
The kitchen was filled with chefs who seemed to be glaring at the intruders in their kitchen. Draco seemed not to notice.
We exited and were now standing an outside dining area. There were others out there already.
“Drakey!” Came the shrill scream of a girl who was now bouncing toward Draco. The girl was easily indefinable as Pansy Parkinson. Her black greasy hair hung in her signature bob. She wore a strapless ice-blue satin gown with a tiered skirt.
Pansy tried to attach herself to Draco only to be pushed away. She acted as if it hadn’t happened and instead turned to me with a twisted look of disgust.
“Who’s she?” She spat.
“She has a name.” I said.
“Dragon, why did you bring her here?” Pansy whined and stomped her foot like a spoiled child.
“Cause it’s her party pug face.” Another voice came. I turned to find Aiden sitting with Hecate on his lap, petting her.
“Shut up mutt!’ pansy replied
“Aww is that the best you can do.” Aiden said to pansy.
“I think this might be yours.” He said with a toothy grin picking up the relaxed cat.
Hecate jumped from his hands and mewed. She rubbed herself against his leg thanking him before darting off into the bushes.
I laughed to myself. “I think she likes you.”
“I hate cats” Pansy said.
“And they hate you dear.” Said the black boy sitting next to Aiden.
“Hey Blaise.” I said recognizing Draco second in command.
“Hello Darling.” He replied.
“I’m still thirsty.” I said suddenly. I started to go back in but was stopped be Draco
“Sit down you stupid git.”
He snapped his finger at two rather large boys.
“Crabbe, Goyle go get drinks for the rest of us.” He Ordered.
The two stomped off.
“Millicent go with them and get me some gingerbread.” Pansy said and a rather frightful girl followed after Draco’s goons.
Draco took a seat in-between Flint and Blaise.
Pansy sat on the floor next Draco.
I sat in between Aiden and Blaise.
“So can you even use magic?” Pansy asked rudely.
“Wait what… yes!” I said.
“Oh, I mean it would make sense.” She said innocently.
“What would make sense?” I asked getting ready to defend myself for the second time that night.
“Why you don’t live with your dad.” She said
“I don’t live with my dad because he works most of the time and that’s it.” I snapped at her.
‘I am getting real tired of you people’
“Of course.” Pansy said.
“You know pansy I didn’t know you were so multitalented.” Blaise said with a sly smile.
Pansy stared at him confused.
“You can talk and annoy us all at the same time.”
Draco snorted at the joke.
“Dragon!” pansy whined standing up.
“What? It was funny.” Draco said.
Pansy turned and glared at me before stomping back inside.
She almost ran into Crabbe and Goyle who were coming back with are drinks.
“Millicent come on!’ Pansy yelled.
Millicent obeyed pansy and followed her back out.
I ignored pansy’s dramatic exit and focused more on the drink now in my hand.
The drink emitted a soft perfume let smelt of flowers. The liquid itself was a magenta color with a few bubbles and was served in a martini glass with an unidentifiable spice on the rim of the glass. I took a small sip and was thrown back by it. The drink tasted like sweet snow but left a warm feeling in my throat and stomach.
‘Weird’
“Is it just me or dose Pansy hate me or something?” I asked
“She hates you.” All the boys said in unison.
“Why? I thought I was being nice.”
“It’s has nothing to do with you dear.” Blaise said
“She just hates any girl within a meter of Draco.” Aiden finished.
“Although you can’t blame her I am gorgeous.” Draco said full of himself.
‘Hold the laughter in.’
“Don’t worry about her though. She’s all bark and no bite.” Blaise said before spelling a nail file and began to give himself a manicure.
“I could do this magically but it’s just not the same.” Blaise said to no one particular.
Aiden shook his head before speaking. “Vanity is a sin you know.”
“So is pride but I don’t see Draco bursting into flames so I’ll be fine.” Blaise said not taking his focus off his nails.
Draco merely shrugged of the comment as if he hadn’t heard it.
“What’s Dad like in school?” I asked. It was something I had always wondered.
“Same as always sarcastic yet amusing.” Aiden answered me.
“I am not sarcastic. Nor am I any sort of entertainment for you children.”
We all turned toward the door. Dad and Lucius stood in the doorway smirking at us.
“If you two don’t start making some noise when you walk I’ll have to put bells on you.” I said trying to mimic the tone of a mother warning a small child.
“Are you done or should we come back.” Dad said.
“No I’m finished.” I said
“Then if you would please come in we could have dinner so we can end this damn thing and I can go to bed.”
‘Well I wonder where I got my people skills from.’
We followed the two older men inside. Blaise left to go sit with his mother and Aiden with Aunt Bella and Rodolphus.
Draco and I sat together at a large table in the center of the room.
‘Lucky me’
Dinner served itself in true magical fashion.
I couldn’t believe all the food. Venison, ham, turkey, lobster, salmon, roast beef, tarts and pies of all sorts, fruits, pea soup, chopped spinach, and so many more things.
I took some Sheppard’s pie and ate in silence.
As I was eating I glanced across the table a Lucius. For the first time that night I got a good look at him. He dressed a dark green suit with a black cloak, black ascot, white gloves and black leather boots. His signature snake cane sat next him leaning against his chair.
His feather soft blonde hair was tied back with a black ribbon so his grey eyes could be seen clearly.
‘Did I just say feather soft?’
His skin looked flawless and he was smirking.
‘Wait…What?!’
I snapped out of my thoughts and realized Lucius was smirking at me with a raised eyebrow.
I looked down hopefully hiding the faint blush that was creeping across my face.
“So have you bought a pet to take to Hogwarts with you yet?” Lucius asked making small talk.
‘Maybe that means he didn’t see me staring’
“That child doesn’t need another beast.” Dad said.
“Another?” Aunt cissy asked finding a new way to mock me.
“I have several pets already.” I said.
“What kind of pets?” Aunt Cissy asked.
“A lynx, a wolf, a horned owl, a phoenix, and a dragon.” I said.
“A dragon?” she asked putting her hand against her heart in fake astonishment.
“Yes a Dayscale. It’s a harmless breed.” I snapped her.
Aunt cissy laughed. “Well aren’t you just the strangest child.”
‘I wonder if I kicked her under the table if anyone would know it was me.’
“Well I don’t have anything that tops a dragon but I do own a few thoroughbred Stallions at the manor and I would love to teach you to ride.”
Aunt Cissy seemed rather applaud by the idea. Even though she and Lucius were divorced she still concerned him her property. She was just that shallow.
“And I could take you shopping. After taking care of you and all those animals your mother mustn’t have any money left over for decent clothes.” Aunt Cissy said trying to one up her ex husband while still patronizing me.
‘I don’t care if they know it’s me I’m kicking her.’
I was in the middle of discovering which leg belonged to Aunt Cissy when Lucius tapped my hand gentle with his fingers. I looked up at him to find a smile on his face.
“It has just occurred to me that I haven’t had the luxury of dancing with the guest of honor yet.” He said while turning his gaze to ballroom floor.
“Oh Lucius dear, don’t embarrass her like that Merlin knows she can’t dance.” Aunt Cissy said in her shrill voice.
I ignored her. “I would love to although I have to admit I am not that good.”
“That’s okay it’s all about leading.” Lucius said before whisking me from my seat.
I made sure to give Aunt Cissy a smug smile before disappearing from her view.
‘When I get back I kicking you hard.’
We were at the edge of the dance floor when, with a flick of his hand, Lucius changed the song. Nobody seemed to mind the change of music once they turned and saw who changed it.
“It’s a muggle song but I quite enjoy it.” he said as Nat King Cole’s Unforgettable echoed through the room.
As the words began I was whirled onto the floor. I didn’t have to do much work but I ended up gliding across the floor gracefully, everyone’s toes unharmed.
Lucius started singing along his voice just as beautiful. I focused on his words.
“Unforgettable that’s what you are, unforgettable though near or far.”
Everything seemed to be silenced as he sung. “Like a song of love that clings to me, how the thought of you dose things to me.”
I couldn’t even hear the original singer anymore. “Never before has someone been more unforgettable in every way and forevermore that’s how you’ll stay.”
Until there was only his voice to be heard. “That’s why darling it’s incredible that someone so unforgettable thinks that I’m unforgettable too.”
Then it was over and the sounds of others came flooding back as the song changed. Lucius lead me of the floor and I couldn’t understand what had just happened to me. I took my seat back at the table forgetting my earlier vow took kick Aunt Cissy until she bleed and everything else for that matter. If you were to ask me my name I wouldn’t have been able to tell you.
We ate in silence and shortly after dessert people came and said good bye telling me to enjoy their gift all vowing theirs were the best.
Lucius was the last one to say good bye.
“I hope you had a lovely evening Sasha. I did.” He said before kissing my hand and disappearing.
