“Masami-Chan! You stupid dog! You ate all the food again!” Suzume yelled, her purple eyes staring daggers into the gray eyes of her only companion. The dog whimpered apologetically and buried its nose under its paws.
She looked again into her backpack finding only crumbs and a few Kunai.
Suzume sighed and pulled her raven curls back running her fingers soothingly threw her hair.
“I guess this means its time to restock.” Suzume said to the dog.
Masami merely tilted his head in response.
“Yeah, I don’t want to go either boy but we need supplies.” she said petting the soft blonde husky.
The Masami sat up, barked and pointed his nose to the north. This was his way of saying “We need to go this way”
Suzume thought about it.
North from where she stood was, she searched her brain unable to find the answer instinctively, it was
Konohagakure, the village hidden in the leaves.
“Come on Masami-Chan lets go.” Suzume said
The dog barked thankful for a chance to run and ran forward toward their current destination.
Suzume rubbed the bride of her nose and spoke to herself “Dumb dog.”
Suzume took to the trees and followed behind Masami.
After a half hour of running Suzume and Masami came to a stop outside the peaceful country side village of Konohagakure. Suzume stayed perched in the trees and motioned silently for Masami to stay in the wooded area out of sight. Suzume then scanned Konoha for anything that make her stay in the village troublesome. She couldn’t help but take moment to admire the renowned Hokage Rock. She glanced at the First through Fourth Hokages images forever carved into a giant monument.
“Good Doggie.”
Suzume thought shed scream when she looked away the rock to find Masami being petted by a tall rather fit lazy looking man in a leaf ninja uniform with spiky silver hair and his head band slanted so it covered his left eye and a mask covering the lower part of his face.
“Stupid Stupid Dog!” Suzume screamed in her head. Although she was sure she was caught Suzume didn’t move. It never occurred to Suzume that she hadn’t done anything to be hiding for, it was instinct.
“You can tell your friend she can come down now. I heard her coming from a mile back.” the man told Masami smiling.
Suzume froze. It wasn’t till Masami turned in Suzume’s direction and began to bark playfully she regained motion but she still didn’t leave her place.
The man smiled and walked toward her and motioned for her to come down with his hand.
“I don’t bite” he said.
Suzume sighed jumped from her place and fell gracefully to the ground.
Masami glad to introduce her master to her new friend ran up to Suzume barking playfully and nudged her with his nose toward the sliver haired man.
“Hello I am Hatake Kakashi. It’s nice to meet you and your friend.” he said.
“Hello Kakashi, I am Suzume and the dumb dog” Suzume paused to quickly glare at Masami “is Masami-Chan. I hope that I did not seem rude early I mean no trouble. I’m just here to get supplies then I will be on my way.”
Kakashi began to respond but was stopped when a spiky hair blonde ran eagerly toward them.
“Kakashi Sensei!”
Kakashi seemed almost disappointed when he heard the voice. Without turning around he answered the teen. “What is it now Naruto?”
The teen still grinning like an idiot now stood by his Sensei.
“Me and Sasuke were training and…” he paused now finally noticing Suzume. “Who’s the girl?” he asked rather rudely.
Kakashi must have thought so to because he swatted the blonde in the back of his head.
“What was that for?!” the teen asked angrily
“You have no manners Naruto.” Kakashi said calmly.
Suzume couldn’t help but giggle.
“Hey, what are you laughing at? You better respect me because I am Uzumaki Naruto and I’ll be Hokage one day believe it!”
Suzume thought over Naruto’s words before speaking.
“But you’re an idiot. I thought the Hokage was supposed to be, you know, smart.”
This time it was Kakashi who laughed.
“Hey, Kakashi Sensei that’s not funny!”
“Naruto stop being so childish. Suzume here is looking for Supplies, so be a good Genin and take her to the where she needs to go.” Kakashi said in sudden humorless tone.
Naruto groaned, obviously not liking this new assignment
Suzume herself was not very pleased with the idea of being babysat by some idiot her own age.
Suzume began to speak up but was interrupted as two more teens came toward them.
A pink haired girl spoke “Kakashi Sensei, dose this mean we have to help too.” her voice was whiny as clung to black haired boy next to her.
Suzume already could tell this girl was a spoiled brat.
Suzume took in the full images of the two new teens.
The girl had short pink hair that was pulled back by her leaf village headband. She had green eyes and wore a red dress with white circles on it.
The boy and rave hair with onyx eyes. Suzume felt a small chill run down her spine looking at him something wasn’t right about his one.
“Yes Sakura, you Naruto and Sasuke are a team. You must all work together on this.” Kakashi said to the girl.
“But isn’t there some mission we need to do! Come on Kakashi I won’t become Hokage by babysitting some weirdo girl all day.”
Suzume swore she the Sasuke by snort at Naruto’s comment.
“On of the Hokage’s job is to help and show compassion for others Naruto.” Kakashi said calmly.
“Yeah Naruto! You’re such an idiot!” Sakura patronized.
“But she’s not even apart of the village! She’s just some weirdo from the woods.” Naruto whined
Suzume clinched her fists she him let him call her a weirdo once but twice was one to many.
Masami whimpered knowing what would happen next.
Suzume ignored it.
Suzume easily and quickly cleared her mind and began to focus all her chakra her into her fists and with a smirk pulled back her arm and then ever so gracefully Suzume released her arm and like a coiled spring let go into Naruto’s stomach.
Suzume opened her eyes as she heard Naruto groan and smash against a nearby tree.
All three people stood mouths open staring at Suzume.
“I am sorry about that I just couldn’t let him call me a weirdo again. I’ll leave.” Suzume turned to leave but was stopped as Kakashi , Sasuke, and Sakura burst into laughter.
Suzume didn’t understand. She looked down at Masami whose eyes held the same confused expression.
The raven haired boy walked toward Suzume. “ I am Uchiha Sasuke. So who are you.” he said with a devilish grin.
Suzume did her best to ignore the feeling her gut she got when he spoke to her as she answered him.
“Suzume and this is my friend Masami.” she said.
“Ahh he’s sooo cute! My name is Haruno Sakura by the way.” she said as she ran over to pet Masami.
Suzume glanced over to see Naruto finally getting up holding his stomach.
“I hope I didn’t hit him to hard.” she said unaware that Sasuke was still listening.
“He’ll be fine. Come on I’ll show you the Supply shop.” Sasuke said.
Sakura got up, much to Masami displeasure, and followed behind Sasuke.
